Located within the new Sydney Metro Martin Place development, 1 Elizabeth Street represents a landmark in city‑shaping infrastructure and integrated commercial design. The project delivers Australia’s first fully integrated station development—bringing together public transport, workplace, retail, and hospitality within one of the country’s most significant civic and business precincts.

Positioned at the heart of Sydney’s CBD, Martin Place Metro Station is a key interchange connecting the Metro North West Line through the city and extending to Greater Sydney’s southwest by 2025. The station and its over‑station precinct bring to life a multi‑level mix of retail, dining, and service offerings, creating a new gateway experience for daily commuters, city workers, and visitors.

Noble & Co. was engaged to provide Retail Development and Tenancy Delivery Management services in support of Macquarie Group’s internal management team. Our role focused on aligning commercial outcomes with the project’s broader urban and operational goals—enhancing placemaking quality, ensuring seamless tenant integration, and curating a retail mix that complements the precinct’s premium setting.

Key achievements included securing Lune Croissanterie’s first Sydney CBD location and partnering with ETYMON Group to deliver Lou Lou -a two‑level flagship hospitality destination that activates both the concourse and upper levels. The result is a retail and dining environment that reflects Macquarie’s vision for Martin Place as “A Place for Everyone”—a civic, connected, and distinctly Sydney experience.
